Kensington Soccer Club held tryouts for a men’s team on the weekend of Aug. 14-15 at Bristol Township Park.

Led by coaches Jim Breslin and Brian Coulter, the men’s team will aim to provide male players 16 and older with competitive soccer opportunities across the city and region.

The tryouts were held to provide players with an initial glimpse at the seriousness the team will hold when going into competition. However, according to Breslin, recruiting will not stop and players who missed tryouts — who want an opportunity to play on the team— can get in contact with him or any of the current players to show up at a given practice.

In order to receive more information on player fees and future scheduling, Breslin invites those interested to join the Kensington Player Pool GroupMe.
