Longtime Kensington Soccer Club player and coach Brianna Banks has made her return to the Women’s Premier Soccer League for the 2021 season.

Banks is set to play with Philadelphia Lone Star FC Women, after joining them in their inaugural season in 2019. In that season, she scored two goals in nine appearances for the club.

A decorated forward for Penn State Brandywine women’s soccer, she finished her collegiate career as the school’s all-time leading scorer with 119 goals. She also recorded 24 assists in her 64 appearances for the Lions.

Banks was also a four-time USCAA First Team All-American, four-time First Team All-PSUAC, four-time PSUAC Player of the Year and four-time PSUAC All-Academic Team member.

The WPSL is the nation’s second-highest women’s soccer league, falling right below the National Women’s Soccer League. Through this competition, Banks hopes she can continue to develop her skills and gain the exposure necessary to pursue a dream of playing soccer professionally.

Kensington Soccer Club wishes Brianna good luck as she continues to pursue her dreams!
