“As a former teacher it is important to find books our athletes can see themselves in. Our partners are great at finding diverse books, and we also attend the African-American Children’s book festival and shop at local book stores to get the best titles.”
Pat Hardy is the S.A.V.E. Coordinator at Kensington Soccer Club. As a retired educator, Pat is chiefly in charge of the educational and enrichment initiatives of the club.
