It helps the kids know that they can do what ever they put their mind to, and they will have us as a source of support.
— Brianna Banks

Brianna Banks, MSW has been with Kensington Soccer Club for over 12 years. In addition to her leadership and athleticism on our competitive teams, Brianna is a beloved coach for teens and adults. She is involved in all of our Athletic and Social/Educational Programs, but her leadership role as Intervention and Prevention Coordinator is central to our founding and values. As our Intervention and Prevention Coordinator, she ensures the distribution of the best resources to our community.

Brianna graduated from Penn State - Brandywine, and St. Joseph’s University with her Masters in Social Work. In addition to earning her Masters, one of her major accomplishments is becoming a certified Psychotherapist for Anxiety and Depression. She currently offers opportunities for counseling and resource-matching through her Bri Chat. Brianna is chiefly responsible for identifying and distributing local resources to our athletes and community members. Driven by the quote, “Rock bottom became the solid foundation in which I built my life”, Brianna Banks, MSW melds her professional and community experiences to serve the needs of everyone she encounters in her role(s) at Kensington Soccer Club.

Brianna has developed the Women’s Semi-Professional soccer program to provide pathways for our teens to continue in their athletic careers locally and internationally. Her expertise emerges from her oustanding career as a soccer player, which reached a turning point in her undergraduate athletic career when she beat the Men’s and Women’s records for top goals scored in her senior year with over 100 goals. In 2022, and 2023, Brianna Banks made it to play professional soccer, and in Winter 2023, she traveled to Peru to compete.

Brianna is crucial to our fundraising and sponsorship efforts through her work raising money for Teen Educational Scholarships, KSC Programs and more by planning events like the Izlas Open Mic Night, and first annual Kensington Community Cup.
