After-School Partnership Options

after-school program at your site!

Below, you’ll see the details for different partnership models.

THE BASICS
KSC Provides:
Soccer jerseys for the children to keep
All necessary soccer equipment for the duration of the program, including portable goals, balls, cones, and pinnies
A guaranteed spot for the children on one of our nearby community-based recreational soccer teams
Site Partner Provides:
The work of promoting the program to your children and families and helping them register
The physical space in which to run the program twice a week for ten weeks
Assistance helping children transition to the program
Assistance in collecting data from the participating children
Staff to oversee the dismissal of the children at the end of each session
TIER ONE
The site partner provides the after-school coach
(either as volunteers or paid by the site partner)
The coach participates in the KSC Soccer For Success
coach training and completes background checks
The site partner does not pay anything to KSC
Tier One partnerships are available to any
site partner who meets the requirements
TIER TWO
The site partner provides all the after-school coaching
staff, but KSC helps pay the coach (subject to negotiation)
The coach participates in the KSC Soccer For Success
coach training and completes background checks
The site partner does not need to pay anything to KSC
Tier Two partnerships are somewhat limited
If the site partner is able to provide partial funding
for the coach, it becomes a lot easier to arrange
TIER THREE
KSC provides the after-school coaches who
are already trained and have all their clearances
The site partner pays KSC to help cover the cost of paying and supervising the
coaches (Amount subject to negotiation)
Tier Three partnerships are limited,
depending on the availability of coaches
TIER FOUR
KSC provides the after-school coaches who are already trained
and have all their clearances
The site partner does not need to pay anything to KSC
Tier Four partnerships are very limited, depending on the availability
of coaches and funding
POSSIBLE ADD-ONS
Depending on the season and on funding, we may be able to provide one or more of the following:
Balls for the children to keep
Books for the children
After-school tournaments where multiple sites play competitive games
