Kensington Soccer Club is looking for a Summer Program Supervisor to supervise, train, and mentor our teen soccer coaches at our summer programs and camps.
As a growing grassroots organization currently serving up to 1,500 children in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood, the successful candidate will help us maximize community impact and provide a greater work structure for our organization in the future.

Job Summary
Under the leadership of Kensington Soccer Club's Program Supervisor and assistance from other administrative staff, the Program Manager will:
- Supervise, train, and mentor our teen soccer coaches at our summer programs and camps.
- Work with anti-violence presenters and workforce development trainers on a weekly basis.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient
- Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination
- Any previous experience in organizational leadership, team management, grassroots organizing, and community impact is preferred but not required.
Time Commitment
Summer VISTA's will work full-time with Kensington Soccer Club for nine weeks (June 13-August 12) and dedicate 35-40 hours a week. This is an in-person position.
Compensation
Total compensation for the summer is $6,033.30.
The compensation details are:
a living allowance from AmeriCorps totaling $2,589.30.
an additional KSC supplemental living allowance of $2,070.
the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award of $1,374 received at the end of the summer to be used on college tuition or debt, or a cash bonus of $311 if you prefer.
NOTE: AmeriCorps does not cover moving expenses for a Summer VISTA.
