Every year since 2014, we partner with Iglesia del Barrio and the 24th Police District to host a free, two-week summer camp at Hissey Playground. With additional support from the DEA Educational Foundation and Councilwoman Maria Quiñones Sánchez, we can provide the children of this neighborhood with soccer opportunities they wouldn’t normally have access to.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Boys and Girls, 3-18 years old

HOW LONG IS THIS CAMP?

The summer camp will run on weekdays from 9 a.m to 12 p.m., August 9-20

WHERE WILL CAMP TAKE PLACE?

The camp will be taking place at Hissey Playground.

PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN

All our programs are
“PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN,’ meaning you are not required to pay to play.

We do ask for a contribution of what you can afford from $5-150 to help us provide more equipment and programming across the Kensington community, but again, it is not required.

We also offer full scholarships for players who can’t afford to pay.
