2022 - 2023 Annual Report
A Year in Transition
Started in 2010, our organization has shifted from a volunteer-run organization, to a local entity that provides professional opportunities, resources, and soccer programs for all ages regardless of their ability to pay. As you peruse this report from our year of transition (2022-2023), We encourage you to ask yourself, how you want to get involved?
“I am always looking for safe and fun activities to sign my kids up for. When I was growing up in the area, we did not have something like this, but I am happy that my kids have the opportunity to play soccer. I am also grateful the coaches provided equipment because it is so expensive to provide it for all of my children.”
INTRODUCTION
A wise person once said, “not all change is bad”, but despite our growth, we wouldn’t say we changed. 2022-2023 was a year of transition in so many ways. In this report we hope to highlight our transitions amidst the preservation of our values. As volunteers transitioned into leaders of our programs; Youth athletes transitioned to collegiate and semi- and professional competitors, our overall organization transitioned: unifying our programs, events, and service under official initiatives. This report highlights the expansion and contraction of our work, as we collaborated with each other, our community, and our partners to improve the quality of soccer we offer. We are proud to share some of the turning points of this transition in the areas of events, programs
CELEBRATING OUR TRANSITIONS
Our Spring Family Day marks a decade-long tradition in our organization. We celebrate the end of every season with Food, Awards, Games, and the families that support the wonderful athletes in our travel and recreation programs. Our 2023 Spring Family Day was captured by Videography VISTA Derrick Hogue.
